
Minor Hotels, global hotel owner and operator with more than 560 hotels and resorts in 58 countries located in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, Africa, as well as the Indian Ocean, announces the upcoming debut of the NH Hotels & Resorts brand in Copenhagen, the city where the group already has the five-star hotel NH Collection Copenhagen.
The new hotel, which plays a significant role in the cultural life of Copenhagen, will be added to the Minor Hotels portfolio on April 10th. The property is located next to the central station and Tivoli Gardens, on the main street of the Vesterbro district, which in recent years has become the trendiest area of Copenhagen. Built in 1892, this beautiful building has been recently renovated and features 162 rooms, a restaurant, two bars, a rooftop bar with excellent views of the entire city centre, event rooms, a gym, a yoga studio, and an interior courtyard with a glass terrace.
This hotel will be owned by CapMan, a leading private asset management company in the Nordic region with a real estate arm focused on a wide variety of projects such as hotels, offices, residences, logistics centres and retail stores. Currently, the company has 55 hotels in the Nordic countries, following the recent acquisition of Midstar Fastigheter AB.
